SEATING CHART GUIDES

Depending on the performance you will see one of two seating charts. Most small cast shows, musicians, concerts, comedians, and variety acts will feature the first seating chart below. The “Partially Obstructed” seats, are seats where a pole is partially blocking your view. Some people don’t mind and some people find it annoying but when a production is close to filling out they certainly have a good enough view to enjoy the performance.

For larger scale productions you will often see this alternate seating chart which includes the same two seating types as above, with the addition of the yellow “Mild Obstruction” seats. Mild Obstruction in these cases mean, you may have trouble seeing the back corners of the side of the stage you are on. This is simply just the reality of the angles. There is rarely action taking place in the back corners but it means you may occasionally miss an entrance or exit from a character. All of our directors are aware of these limitations and avoid placing performers in those areas for long periods (or at all).

With the smaller acts and productions nothing is ever placed in those back corners, which is why this yellow seating type is considered “Prime Seating” for most events.
