Do you dream of Broadway? Do you spend your time dancing and singing along to the OBC recordings of your favourite shows? Are you interested in sharing your love of theatre with others? We can't take you to NYC, but this class is the next best thing.

Each week we will tackle a new Broadway musical (selected with you guessed it, a roulette wheel!) and talk about the history of the show, the cast, favourite songs, and what makes the show so special.

FACULTY BIO:

Rachael Murphy (BA, Theatre Arts Certificate) has been with the HAT Academy since our very first HATCH Summer Camp as a student Group Leader, and is now very happy to be the HAT Academy’s Education Director! When she isn’t answering emails, planning new programs, or teaching classes, you can sometimes find her onstage at the HAT (Alice - Alice in Wonderland, Celia -As You Like It, Past - A Christmas Carol) or backstage Stage Managing (Frozen JR, Seussical the Musical, She Loves Me) OR directing one of our JR/Teen Productions (15, Alice in Wonderland, Shrek JR, Mary Poppins JR).

When:

Monday evenings from 6:15PM to 7:45PM
April 22nd, 2024 and running for 8 consecutive weeks.

If a class should be cancelled for any reason, a make-up class will be scheduled and emailed out to participants.

AGE GROUP:

For children and teens between the ages of 13 and 18.

Tuition:

$126 (+HST)
Registration is accepted on a "first come, first served" pending payment of Registration Fee. 
All sales final.
